Touchwood Child & Family Services

The goal of child protection services is to ensure we do our best to keep children in their family home. If a child must be removed for their protection, we work towards family reunification whenever possible and as soon as possible.

Child protection provides services to families where children are believed to be in need of protection from physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional maltreatment, neglect or exposer to domestic violence. When children have to be admitted into care, child protection manages their needs through assessments and treatment planning to ensure that the child’s health, social, psychological & education needs are met in preparation to return home when possible.
